The owner of the yard is a very nice omani person so i heard of him..this yard belongs to the sultanat of oman and the owner is.... oh no keep it secret !! better!

Sunflower Al Said at home

Last time I was in Muscat I couldn't resist a quick detour to snap Al Said at her home berth, along with some other components of the Royal Yacht Squadron

She is particularly outstanding in this environment, although the unfaired sides and cruise liner looks do not appeal to this viewer.

The massive 155-meter 15,850 GT superyacht "Al Said" is now apparently on the market. Of course this would be the first time that she is on the market for sale since her completion back in 2008, that we know of at least.

Interesting if true... Maybe a bigger one is in the works. It will be very very tough to find a buyer for this one.

There is only one type of buyer for a yacht this size...and even then the money involved to gut it and re-arrange the decks to your personal taste will be substantial.

Still not seen in the registry if that's true. But will be in a few months.
