Lifting ceiling/headliner in salon of Bertram 37

    hi ... we're looking at an older Bertram 37 but the headroom is limited ... about 6 ' 3" in the salon...has anyone ever heard of lifting the ceiling /headliner (there is a storage area between the ceiling/headliner & bottom of bridge deck floor... for fishing rods)--any thought or opinions on this would be appreciated...

    There is not room to allow a higher ceiling.
