This was a long time ago, when I was a teenager. I believe it was a Clark Craft Kit boat. A 26-foot something cabin cruiser; had a head, stove and slept 2.
I installed teak decking over the glass and replaced the plastic steering wheel with a proper wooden one.
I had the time of my life on it for over a decade and used up several lives.
Ended up selling it to a friend who got a job caretaking a house on one of those small Islands, where the owners spent the winters in warmer climates.
He ended up getting the boat swamped and shipwrecked in a storm, managing to barely escape in a rubber tender.
Since then, I always had friends with boats of different sizes that do more than satisfy my nautical desires.

Actually it looks like the seagull realized it was a female crab and not legal to take...

(this relates to 3 pages previous where the seagull is working on a crab then later decided to throw it back in)

The last boat, (white on white rather than the usual standard gray hull) should be a Nordhavn 64.

The angle of that shot makes it look rather stubby.

Looks like a Searay and a new Seabus between North Van & Downtown.

    Clever observance

It took me a moment, but I see your reference -- clever. It clearly must have been an accident. I offer much larger crabs to gulls and other smaller seabirds when getting bait crabs. Their sharp beaks kill before a crab has a chance to retaliate.
    :)

Looks like we’re heading for Green Olympics, and I don’t mean that in ecological terms. The Hawaiian pineapple express is giving us temperatures in the 50F range, with the mountains turning into slush.
Keep that in mind when contemplating dropping a couple of grand on scalper tickets.

And just when you though things couldn’t get any more exciting, we get a new gas station. The old one in the foreground looks like its sinking.
Also, a closer look at the new SeaBus.

That thing looks like it must be a thrill a minute docking in a good wind. Do you know what kind of cruise speed it gets?

Washington Marine Group (Victoria BC) was commissioned to build it for $25Million.
Interesting enough, soon thereafter the parking meters downtown went up to $5 per hour.

I'm always thrilled about subsidizing services I never use:

Is that the gas station that was built in Ketchikan? Did they tow it down?

I was there when one of those things blew up way back when. That was exciting but sad for the poor attendant.

You wouldn't know which APL boat that is under the cranes would you?

Correct, you must have friends in Alaska, as this is top secret gas station stuff. :D

Not sure which container company ship that is.
