And that's about the only ball that was dropped. Otherwise, this is an exceptional boat and the closer you look, the more quickly you realize this boat was designed and engineered by someone who really knew a lot about boats and building them. In this case, it's Dan Fritz, the original founder of Queenship.

The boat pictured above was the first Sea Spirit built. Out of the gate, this is an excellent effort. I found NO glaring inadequacies, when I normally find fault with most boats. Yes, the top looks like an afterthought because it WAS an afterthought. The original design did not stipulate this feature.

As a testament to how well-received the boat is... they have sold several more Sea Spirits in just over a year; in a terrible economy, while many builders have sold none. On the hull color, yes... higher maintenance. It shows spots and is prone to fading. So is a black sports car, but it sure looks good when it's clean.

You're right Brian, it is an S&S design. I should not have said 'designed and engineered' by Dan, but there are thousands of details that go into building a boat, long after the blueprints are delivered. In the end, the final product is the culmination of the design & engineering of the boat builder as well.
