Dunya Yachts 72-meter "Red Square"​

Turkey based yacht builder Dunya Yachts are working on a 72-meter luxury yacht dubbed "Red Square". The project is at a well advanced stage in construction and should be on course for launching in early 2011. She is being built in steel and aluminum and when completed would represent the largest yacht to the date to be built in Turkey.

Red Square features an exterior design done by Diana Scott of Sterling Scott Design and an interior design featuring the work of Alberto Pinto. On the inside she will accommodate up to 12 guests in 1 X Master, 1 X VIP, 2 X Doubles and 2 X Twin cabins. The interior conceptualization features a beach-house appeal seen throughout especially in the main saloon.

The exterior decks are spacious especially with a 12.20-meter overall beam. All over this yacht, from upper deck, aft, main deck and sundeck, there is Sunbed 'heaven'. On the aft upper deck, there is a wading pool complete with 'swim-up' bar seats to enjoy a cool drink from the purpose-built bar just forward of the pool. On the aft main deck there is a sizable pool, not as large, but reminiscent of "Alfa Nero's".

Furniture of varying description will take up position all over the exterior decks to best enhance the relaxation effect. Loungers, sunbeds, couch and settee type chairs and even formal chairs to match similar tables for al fresco dinning will take up residence. On the half elevated sun deck an expanse of sun beds greet guests and seating of the same material and patterning feed twin-positioned tables for alternative eating.

Red Square will carry 2 X CAT 3516C DITA Engines expected to carry her to a maximum speed of 17 knots. A cruising speed of 14 knots have been calculated as well. Red Square, previously known as DY003, has been a highly publicized new build and no doubt will be an anticipated launch in 2011.
