Hynautic Hydrauliс Controls

Albeit a bit slow, they do still work and are still reliable.
If anybody was to ever document an O ring size list, The hynautic stuff could last forever.

Years ago I purchased up a pile of kits for my best customers. The next time I pull out a kit, I'll match them up and document the sizes,,, If I remember,,, Those slow brain cells are catching up some how..

I sympathize with him. Actually, I prefer anything but electronic!
In fact, I just LOVE my very basic cable levers, because they are even simpler than the Hynautic system, which needs to convert hydraulic movements into push/pull cables anyway - albeit much shorter obviously, being inside the e/r.
I believe the main reason why some builders back in the days preferred those to cable levers was that with the latter it's practically impossible to fit a third station.
But also the nicer/smoother movement played a role, particularly on bigger boats.
Regardless, in your boots I'd stick to the system you've got for as long as possible - i.e., probably for a helluva lot of time!
