Interested to see if anyone ships from Galveston, TX to the Bahamas. Wanted to see if it is equal /more/less than driving it over (recently went from FLL to Corpus Christi TX). Any info would be appreciated. 74' Hatteras
    thanks

I just ran a yacht from Corpus Christi, TX to Fort Lauderdale to be loaded on a ship to go to Vancouver. The owner could not find anyone to ship it out of Texas. Depending on how you run the vessel, you can get the efficiency out of the vessel and also do longer legs if you have the crew in order to do 24-36 hour legs and cut the distance down and fuel burn. PM me if you need a Captain or more information on the trip itself.

There might be a set of outboards with a mount and large portable fuel tank available soon if you don't want to put time on the mains.

Nice. I was thinking the same thing! Those mercs ought to know the trip well by then...
