Tell ya what, Lets start from basics. I practiced running inlets on an old Vega 20, B18 Volvo's and AQ100 drives (long ago). Same hull as the later Well Craft V-20. I beat the heck out of that hull when I was young (no comments please). My wife (#3) took an interest in bad condition piloting. I showed a few tricks on our Aqua Sport 17. She now (near) gives a better ride than a smooth lake. Longer story shorter, Ya have to get out there. Learn the boat. Feel the ride. You mentioned you have been onbord already. Start with what you know on a safe day, turn around and do it again. Go back out (or in), have a cup of coffee, drag a line, then come back and run the inlet again. they change every 15 minutes or so. Understand how a finger touch on the throttles can move her. Yes, You can ask for advice, You have to get out there... And learn the feel... You have our ideas, go forth and have fun. Pictures and/or video back to us is cool also.
@rcrapps Will do, I will keep all information in mind and give it a go, I'm never afraid, but alway's eager to learn!
