It is amazing the cash, liquid dollars, that these many times very prudent investors pour into depreciating assets (these yachts). And a lot of them spend, what, a month in total, maybe two, per year aboard them.

I wonder if some of these -- the 100+ meter monsters, the Russian & Saudi toys -- get traded as well, within packages of other items, land, equity, mineral rights, etc., as Adnan Khashoggi did with a few of his yachts, I believe, or have their fees paid by 3rd parties, like the slush fund that BAE created to curry favor with the Saudi's.

yes for the moment I have uploaded only one pic. I have a lot of work to finish before coming back to Italy, I went out only one evening to take pictures of the ship. I'll post something new once back to my home. Unfortunately is moored, so it's not easy to find a good point of view to shot it.

The one feature of Serene I have never seen in photos or video is the central section of its transom lowered to open its internal pool to the sea, like in Octopus, and it seems to be there.

I found it absurd that Washington state charges a 10% tax on any yacht from another state or country if it stays in port for more than 60 days. So, that's the maximum you can stay in places like Seattle. I wonder whether other states have similar ridiculous taxes.
