Just to let you guys know, the new "Drizzle" has been launched by Feadship. She launched at the Feadship De Vries yard today. If the name sounds familiar to you, it should! Think "Isanna" ex. Drizzle, ex. "Twizzle". She was hull 683 at the Aalsmeer yard. The 67-meter vessel looks quite like the old Drizzle and a bit like "Lady Britt" as well.

Bad weather, pictures of Drizzle launched yesterday

Hope you guys will like, I wasn't able to get any closer.
I used a copyright logo, just to be sure no magazines use these pictures.
    Enjoy.

    Wow thanks for posting them!
She is no wide-body design pretty unusual.

    Hi,
That might not stop much, they can either P/Shop it out or crop the image.

It would have been better if you had taken them when everyone was standing near it as it was pulled around. It would have been harder to copy it and drop the individuality of the shot.

I opened the link below in MS Paint and just selected a part of the picture.

Interesting news surfaces that the hull and superstructure to a 57-meter superyacht arrived at the Feadship De Vries facilities. I'm assuming this is hull 684. Unless there are two 57-meters in build? I'm not sure as yet but apparently, this new 57-meter is expected to be completed in 2013.

Hull 684, 57 metre long, is sheduled for 2012.
Hull 685, 58 metre long, is sheduled for Spring 2013 as far as I know..

Must say, if ever there was a project I didnt think would get finished....

I remember this boat from France then I saw her again a couple of years ago in Enkhuizen. Forgotten all about her until seeing this video.

I am extremely intrigued by the Feadship connection. It seems Feadship must have been got onboard to finish it as it was going nowhere fast previously. The Feadship signs are also curious, sponsorship deal?

I havent been in Makkum for at least a year so I would imagine they did the work under their apprentice training scheme. They hope to improve inhouse skills by doing old boats and remove reliance on outside contractors.

Very interested if all previously done work was replaced as it certainly wasnt to Feadship standards. There are plenty of photos on the net documenting the rebuild and the shortcuts are clear to see.

We used to have a saying, you dont put your work on top of work done by others. Hope this isnt the case here.
