I find it really odd that "Tango" (77-meter) goes through the bridge really easy yet a few years ago the 72-meter "Azteca" hit inbound and damaged the cosmetic fender.

The wind conditions on both days were different though.

Well it depands on the wind conditions as you already said but bigger yachts like Limitless, Ecstasea and Ice went there through as well.

Does anybody know the clearance on the sides when it went through ? It looked REALLY close.

According to IGY Simpson Bay Yacht Club...

"Tango" is 12.20-meters wide, just a shade over 40-feet so roughly 7.5 feet or so on either side?

Feadship website has some nice exterior photos of Tango, the best i've seen so far IMO.

Definitely the best thus far. It's going to be hard to top those photos. I like the exterior decks layout. Plenty areas to relax and varying in style and composition from deck to deck. I also like how the al fresco dining area on the aft upper deck is partially closed off, making it kind of intimate yet opened enough. The forward sun deck seems to be nice as well.

I thought "Tango" was in Barcelona........ Just checked her status ...........she is all the way down in French Polynesia at Papeete.

"Tango" will look great in that scenery.............waiting for some stunning pictures.

She took a quick peak by the Volcom Fiji Pro on a week and a half ago. She was certainly going up and down with the size of the waves coming in!

Here are some shots of Tango maneuvering at Red Frog Marina in Bocas del Toro, Panama taken yesterday by Russ Terry who is there with his wife Shelley as they make their way around the world on sailing yacht Jacana Log of Yacht Jacana

Funny thing is they left Fort Lauderdale about 6 years ago, it took them 3 years to make it to Bocas where they have been ever since.

There must be something pretty awesome about Bocas to keep two explorers there for going on 4 years!

Yep very nice photos from both of you! She is indeed a beauty.

Throwing /pulling in lines from these small hatches appears pretty impractical to me. So why do not they engineer bigger hatches?!
And this is by far not the smallest bow hatch I have seen...(You can at least stand on the platform)

For the last few months, "Tango" has been at Monaco Marine in refit. The other day she was relaunched looking as great as the day she was originally launched.
