The classic Feadship "Amara" arrived back at Feadship yesterday for a refit. She was recently worked on as well but the new owners of her who took possession I believe in 2020 is looking to do more work on her. This vessel was built as "Cacique" back in 1986 as a 55.11-meter luxury yacht. She was designed and styled by Frits de Voogt and built by Koninklijke De Vries Scheepsbouw with interior design by Terence Disdale. Since then she was lengthened a couple meters to her present 58-meter LOA. As part of the new refit she will have an updated helideck.
Yeah I know.. I was going by the press release which said she will be getting a new helideck but I failed to mention it as an updated one.
It seems her refit is pretty much done. She was seen being transported to Amsterdam where she will be placed into the water.
