Fairline Phantom: 46 or 50?

    Dear Fairliners,

    If you could buy, for about the same amount of money, a 2002 Phantom 50 or a 2004 Phantom 46, which would you buy? Assume boating geography is Norfolk/Portsmouth to Bar Harbor ME, and that seaworthiness is far more important than the boat's internal layout and amenities.

    I have the chance to compare 46 and 50, (finally bough the 50' by the way !!) and the 50' seems to be way more ship than the 46' .

    Yes the 50 Phantom by Fairline is one of there best recent boats in my book. Amazing stuff, nice ride, and the usuall quality that comes with this builder.
    It also for me superior to the 48 Phantom, and the latest 50 Squadron.
