    Anyone know someone who can repair my E I 600 maker.
    Unit has brown oil under it and my guy said I need a new one?

    Let me know if you find someone who can work on these in SD... I have a split unit EI600 and the motor is tripping the breaker....

    I replaced the motor on my EI 600 last winter. Most parts are Scotsman ice machine parts. Sounds like you need a new gear reducrion box. Parts are becoming scarce. I was fortunate to be able to hunt down a new in box motor. All the professionals told me they were obsolete.

    Wow... that is the exact motor I have.... any leads on where you were able to find one?

    United Refrigeration. I was told Scotsman had 1 left in old dead stock at the time. There is a guy in NC who has one and does alot of the custom boats. He was wanting a pretty penny knowing that when they are gone that is it.This was 9 months ago.
