I have recently purchased a 1965 37' steel Roamer Riviera. Twin 431 Lincoln motors. Does anyone know where I can obtain a set of electrical schematics / wiring diagrams? My port starter shorted out and I have some very unexpected voltage readings. Additionally the generator no longer starts. I suspect they are related.
My boat is located in Racine. I have seen some boats on the forum close by: Kenosha, Milwaukee. Would like to have some discussion on restoration / maintenance.

If a replacement starter isn't readily available or inexpensive, check out White Armature up in Springbrookg WI. They did a beautiful job rewinding my Ideal windlass motor armature for a whopping $178, including shipping. A new replacement motor was $600. Quick turnaround, too.

Thanks, I'll give them a call. I temporarily installed a NAPA replacement starter and a solenoid. Lucky the rotation was correct.

Earlier this year I had my starboard starter on my 454 rebuilt by Green Bay Rebuilders in Green Bay for $158.
