This is my first post, however I am a long time "guest reader" of this forum. I have owned a couple aluminum houseboats in the past and I am currently eyeing up a 1974 60' Roamer MY in Key Largo.

It is a long way from home and I am curious if anyone has any information about the boat. I haven't seen the boat in person but I do really like how this boat is laid out.

Also, if the deal goes through, would anyone like to assist getting the boat to Mobile, AL? I plan on taking the boat all the way up the Ohio River near Pittsburgh PA.

Here she is. She is outdated and needs some love. The hardest part will be getting her home. She hasn't been away from the dock for a few years, but has been run.

Also, I have read about corrosion issues on the exhaust tubes of the roamers. Where does the exhaust exit the boat? Is it all the way out the rear or on the sides?

You will need to check the exhaust from the engine all the way to the end. I had an exhaust leak in the master stateroom.

I looked at the date of Weatherdeck's post and didn't check the others.
