    You still want that beautiful ''look''? As I do...It hasn't changed bayoubud for us DIYers....That is want I still use/do...the results are worth it. Varnish is still pretty much, varnish you still have to keep up with it:mad::). My love/hate relationship with it!

    Thanks for the details. Painting sounds better and better. So far there have been more pressing projects so the exterior mahogany is way down the list. It's so bad now any, more delay can't possibly hurt.

    I freely feel your pain. I would say most of us do, here. This weekend I'm leaving ALL the tools and such resting and taking a little trip to Ocean City Md from Cape May to hang out. Time to use the S.O.B and watch the fuel gauges drop to empty ! I can't wait!

    The never ending work(up keep) can wait . It's never a good thing to become obsessed with, or you will never leave the dock( my personal mantra).:)
