Not an Amels but a 50m Benetti named "Aquila " with a blue painted hull. She is currently for sale.
I saw her last Sat in Ft Lauderdale with her new name "Aquila" on the transom.
Proof of that...
"Aquila" recently came back out from extensive refit. Judging from this Mary Alice exterior photo, we can tell not that much was done with the exterior by way of modification so it must be either interior or technical spaces that were done over. One thing you can notice in this shot though is the blue underwater lighting, for sure she did not have blue lights.
An engineer friend at Pendennis, Falmouth told me Aquila has been at the yard for the last 13 months having her Liz Dalton interior re-worked along with some mechanical systems upgrades.
I read somewhere a while ago that she was having a RWD interior done
RWD? If so, that should make for nice viewing!
I think (but don't know for sure) that this yacht is owned by a family that probably won't show the interior. Probably won't charter either.
I don't know... She is still being advertised for charter under her new name... If this will go on or not is yet to be found out, but if she is for charter still I look forward to the "Always low prices"
Perfect. I love it!
Some photos of the new interior has been released. She looks significantly better. I've always been a fan of her exterior design but was not a fan of the interior. It looks like she will still be available for charter through Burgess
Could you PM me the link? Thanks.
