Around September last year Derecktor issued this press on the progress of "Cakewalk". It gives an idea as to the various conceptions of the yacht, a fairly detailed look at the "BOATHOUSE"/tender bay region for the 3 custom large tenders and other toys, the main tenders are as follows, a RIVA, an INTREPID and a VIKAL LIMO. They are all over 30-feet long. The PDF also deals with most of the other aspects to the yacht. It makes very interesting reading if you haven't done so already.

Is this Derecktor’s first foray into Megayachts? I know they have made large commercial vessels like ferries, but their website gallery doesn’t show any really big yachts.

Well as far as I know she is one of the largest if not the largest yacht built in the U.S for quite some time, she is about 85-meters.

Here is a nice 3D video of the "Cakewalk". She will be beautiful in the final product, her exterior spaces are wonderful.

That's ridiculous. I believe I read that she cost somewhere near $90 million to build (maybe more because that was from the yards bankruptcy hearings). I personally do not like the interior (and I believe that many other yachts in her league have more expensive interiors) and she was not built by a top name european yard. She may have a good exterior appearence but I do not believe she warrents that price.

How do you know that the interior was cheaper than other.
And Tv ex Madsummer was for sell for 179 Million ,so I don't
think that the price is very special for that class.

I love the Liz Dalton interior, very nice work I think was done personally for me from what I can see. To each his own I guess but maybe they are testing the waters with the exorbitant pricing.

Some years ago, ICE was sold to her current owner for that price (about 150 million €)... But she's a Lurssen, with a Heywood/Disdale design, one of the biggest pools I've ever seen on a yacht, a good-sized helipad, etc.
