  1. Third Day Of 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival
As Day 3 of the 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival got underway, there is still news emerging from the show. New announcements are still being made and one comes in the form of a new build and design from Cantiere delle Marche called 'RAW' (Recreational All-Weather Watercraft). It is a 31-meter design and for now is the sole vessel. Gulf Craft unveiled their Majesty 100 Terrace which is designed by Phathom Studio. Additionally there is Sunseeker 94 Yacht. Cantiere del Pardo has debuted its new near 23-meter flagship yacht, the Pardo GT75.
  2. The RAW 31-meter platform from builder Cantiere delle Marche has been presented at the show and the first unit has been sold as well. The 'all-weather' vessel is distinctive with its bright orange accents reinforcing the intended utility nature of the vessel. However, there are still the regular luxury creature-comforts of a yacht board. Giorgio M. Cassetta is the pen behind the exterior design. The idea blends a rugged explorer that can be playful as well. twin CAT marine diesels will power the vessel to 13-knots and at 10-knots there is a 4,500 nautical mile range. Five cabins for at least 10 guests will be available along with three crew cabins. While the yard suggests that the first hull has been sold, there are plans down-the-line to make the RAW idea into a range.
  3. The Gulf Craft Majesty 100 Terrace was also announced at the show. In fact it is the first announcement for Gulf Craft/Majesty Yachts at the Cannes Yachting Festival. There are already three units sold/or close to sale and the first hull is currently under construction and is expected to make its debut at the 2025 Dubai International Boat Show. The new model takes much from the Majesty 111 but being built on a new semi-displacement hull and naturally having new reimagined finishes and interior scheme. The layout is quite similar as well. Some pertinent numbers include an internal volume of 199 GT, 32.3-meter LOA, engine options from MAN, CAT and MTU. Top speed will be around 22 to 23-knots depending on the engine package chosen. The design works with Phathom Studio and showcases an interior generally light with Walnut timber, marble and brass detailing.
  4. The Sunseeker 94 Yacht also unveiled at the show. "We are enthusiastic and proud to introduce the 94 Yacht, a remarkable new addition to our esteemed yacht range. Building on the success of our 100 Yacht, the 94 Yacht exemplifies a luxurious home away from home on the water. In close collaboration with the British design studio Design Unlimited, we have crafted an entirely new interior design for this model. We are excited to unveil our latest creation to the world", said Andrea Frabetti, Chief Executive Officer, Sunseeker International. A pair of MTU 10V 2000 M96L are the standard engine setup which should deliver a 26-knot top-end.
  5. Closing out Day 3 is a debut from Cantiere del Pardo with their new Pardo GT75 flagship. The 22.8-meter craft is aesthetically pleasing and blends walkarounds with performance and the endurance world. Gigi Servidati, President of Cantiere del Pardo said, "it’s a luxurious villa on the sea, designed to offer a unique and sophisticated experience. The Pardo GT75 embodies the vision we aimed to achieve, thanks to our boatbuilding heritage, combined with outstanding design and cutting-edge technology. You can only fully understand the immense potential of the Pardo GT75 by living it firsthand!" Customers will have the option to have as few as two cabins on the lower deck or a 3 or 4 cabin layout. Nauta Design did the interior and exterior penmanship. Volvo Penta IPS is the power onboard and gives customer choice between 4 power options within the Volvo Penta IPS line.
