I mix the two all the time. (Except the Crew Part) My only crew is wifey pouring champagne for the guests. Running On-Demand charters kind of forces me to always keep the boat up to a higher standard, and clean it more frequently, In case the phone rings tomorrow. I keep requesting the USCG, and/or the CG Auxiliary to come and inspect me any time: Put the boat, the operator and the paperwork under the microscope. Not attracting friendly fire, but it keeps me on the toes, and the boat is always ready for a charter, or an inspection. No negatives.
