    Hi all from New Zealand
    I have a LUHRS 320 open and am considering moving the centre console to the starboard side like in a 36 open as I want a dinette in the upper area. I’ve considered changing to a 36 to get what I want but have invested heavily in the boat I have
    Has anyone moved the helm to starboard? I know I will probably have to move the generator to port to offset the weight as well....

    Sounds like you've got the right idea with adjusting the weight, but that sounds like a lot of work and expense for a very questionable outcome. It might even affect your resale value.
