    Qualifications and Summary: I have a U.S.C.G. Captain’s License (including sailing endorsement). And Able Seaman Unlimited. I’ve spent most of my working life in the computer business. I am an avid and experienced boater and sailor. In earlier days, I graduated from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and spent time on oceans. I am a member of the International Ship Masters Assn. I have worked as captain on private yachts, and captained various excursion boats and charter boats. I have done delivery work. I am looking for permanent or temporary work as captain or mate or crew on private yachts (power or sail), excursion boats, or charter boats or work boats. Or doing transits/deliveries on or between Great Lakes, Gulf coast, Atlantic coast, Pacific coast, Caribbean, Mediterranean, anywhere.

    Greetings,

    I am a Ft. Lauderdale based delivery and contract captain. To date, I have delivered yachts from Florida to New England over 140 times via the ICW and coastal routes. I have also delivered yachts to the Great Lakes 28 times via the Erie Canal and Tenn-Tom Waterway, Mississippi, Illinois River systems. I have run inland routes from as far west as Arkansas and as far east as Knoxville, Tn. I have moved yachts from Florida to California via the Panama Canal 10 times, worked in the Mediterannean and Adriatic as well as the Far East, Micronesia, South Pacific and Alaska. I am a veteran engineering officer with the United States Coast Guard and a licensed 100 ton master. Besides an extensive marine background second to none, I am also a corporate pilot with experience in most piston singles and twins as well as 5 models of Learjet, Cessna Citation and Hawker jets. I am available for contract cruises to the Caribbean and Bahamas as well as owner orientation and deliveries to all parts of the world.
