Burger Boat Company – Monaco Collaboration with Bentley and HMS at Captains Reception Since Burger Boat Company – Monaco opened its office in early 2005, the European Team has been spreading the “Burger” word among the European Yachting Community, especially with Captains on the French Riviera. A successful collaboration was formed between Burger Boat Company – Monaco, Bentley-Cannes and HMS, audio visual systems to host a “luxury brand” Captain’s “Happy Hour” reception. The event drew nearly 70 guests who had the pleasure of being entertained in an exclusive Bentley Automobile Showroom and enjoying a buffet. Through the high tech world of HMS and their web rigging, attendees were able to view a live virtual tour of Burger's Shipyard in Manitowoc with President and CEO of Burger Boat Company, David Ross. “This reception gave us a unique opportunity to showcase our shipyard, the six yacht projects currently underway and share the spirit of Burger via live, real-time internet from halfway around the world,” states Ross. Thanks to HMS who developed a special pair of ‘glasses’ with an integrated camera and microphone, everyone was able to hear and see the world of Burger Boat Company. This same product serves as an excellent tool for visually connecting crew members with vendors when troubleshooting various systems at sea or from afar.
