Question for the Yachting pro's. I have watched a number of Burger yachts being launched here in Manitowoc but I have yet to see one with a bulbous bow. I have seen Top Times - a full displacement hull; Mirgab V - I think that one was also a full displacement hull. But I have not seen a Burger with anything but a standard knife like bow. It would seem to me that given the length of these vessels it would make sense to use a bulbous bow to reduce drag and increase fuel economy or range. I have also read about full displacement yachts that are smaller in length than what Burger is building using a bulbous bow to improve range and seakeeping ability... Any thoughts on why the Burger yachts I have seen don't use the bulbous bow configuration? Follow-up question... what are the drawbacks of using a bulbous bow? I look forward to the replies from the pro's. Generalmark
