In Spain you can prosecute people for using lasers, depending on what whey where trying to achieve, but some are already in jail. The focus now is protecting planes, the most vulnerable, but other uses deemed inapropiate, like pointing at your camera, can also be prosecuted. Read this, is about planes (and in Spanis): La amenaza de los punteros láser Uala – Unión de Aviadores de Líneas Aéreas
Laser attack That was the type of laser "pointer" my camera was hit by. A tuned up version of a Wickedlasers Arctic 3. The standard thing already has an output of 1.4 Watt !!!! And they say, its legal in the US? Definately not in Europe. With the tuning kit, the output is much higher. I have no clues, how you can tune a laser?
Due to lack of a new camera, some recent pictures out of stock (my Laptop). 1. A&R Lady Sheridan in Palma, 2. 111,3 ft SY Annagine in Port Adriano, 3. 1994, 77 ft SY Jongert Kemmuna, 4. Unloading of yachts in Porto Pi (Palma).
What is that second one down, the sailing craft? She's a classic looking vessel. Oops I'm sorry, I see you gave the names above. ...even found a website for her http://www.annagine.com/
Well check this laser... camera killer... blowup boat popper... cigarette lighter! Homemade Lightsaber!?! MASSIVE 3W Handheld Laser Torching Stuff!! - YouTube Please rich and famous don't pop my blowup kayak as I paddle by... Yes, I am up early for Mass... that can only mean someone is forced to go to confession to make peace in the house.
Some more POPs from Port Adriano and Palma From the good old days, when I still had a camera. 1.) MY Gattopardo VI, a CBI Navi 40 from 2010. 2.) MY Albatros S, a 150 ft, 2004 CRN 3. and 4.) Self explanatory, MY Limitless.
Two more 1.) A typical picture from Porto Portals. The Lambo belongs to the deckhand. The Mercedes to the Bosun, the Vespa to the skipper and the owner just arrives in his Smart. 2.) MY Andrea, a 126 ft, 2003 Delta Explorer Yacht. Lovely boat, it talks to me, every time I come around.
Al Mirqab I took this sequence of pictures some time ago. Al Mirqab with paint repair / refit in Palma harbour. Pretty large construction site.
When your deckhand has a lamborghini you either arrive in a smart or stay home. If I was the owner, I would be worried about what other business dealings that deckhand is involved in.
Sorry for pulling your leg on this picture. But this setup was asking for it. Porto Portals is well known for owners just showing off. Parking the Lambo behind your Yacht (owner is not on board at all), having coffee on the aft deck, just to be seen by the crowd, thats Porto Portals. Port Hercules at smaller scale. But still a nice place and great ambience. The Tristan restaurant even has an Michelin Star.
Hi All here are a few Yachts in Port Adriano. Not to good quality taken with iPhone. Maltese Falcon and Alaska (Moonen)
We all live in a Yellow Submarine, a Yellow Submarine, a Yellow Submarine!! Oh, and thanks for the great shots!!
Sofia is a nice looking boat. Have a look at Moonen's Facebook page. They have just posted a few more photos of the 100 footer Expedition.
Apple Yacht Hi all Here are a few photos of the Apple Yacht. I took the photos last week. It´s quite ironic that i was taking photos of the Apple Yacht with Apple iPhone.
Thanks... Looking at the photos of the Apple yacht it comes to mind... The yacht is beautifully executed and constructed. This is the yacht that Steve Jobs had designed, built and spent much of his creative efforts at the end of his life to. It will quickly fade to passe'... as it fades even if perfectly maintained it will mirror the fading of Apple entrepreneurial spirit... and be a reminder of what once was... and what could have
