    Eclipse from above

    Browsing Google maps and came across what I believe to be Eclipse at sail leaving Sint Maarten. Can see the shape of the heli hanger at the fore of the boat.

    She is about 2km south of Lay Bay (Middle south) if looking yourselves.

    That's definitely the best photo period of "Eclipse" I have ever seen. The owner should pay him/her for that photo, that's just outstanding!

    "Eclipse" as she lay in dry dock at Fincantieri in Italy for her maintainence period. She is now completed the refit...sea trialed and left the yard.

    Yeah "Eclipse" has been in St. Maarten for the last few days at the cruise terminal there.

    I recently read (yesterday) in a article that Eclipse is designed by Ermidas Atabeiki, i always read that was Martin Francis with interior of Terrence Disdale, the question is Who Designed Eclipse ?

    The build cost is listed at €600 million (€200 the interior). And it does say it has a missile detection system, french. Crew is "only" 50, much less than reported.

    My goodness... interesting to see how long it takes until she finds a buyer!
    Actually they state her length as 170m and larger than I expected.
    Her interior is pretty much inspired "Pelorus"
    I am still speechless! Oo

    I don't know about any missile dectection system and I do not know why they used that drawing at the end of the PDF either. As for her interior, it is like an upscale version of "Pelorus'" own in many of the spaces.
