I am looking at an Azimut Verve 40, with triple 350 Mercury outboards. I would appreciate any owners of this boat, or similar Azimuts to provide any feedback on their quality, reliability, or other issues?

    Welcome to Yacht Forums.

I am sad to type; there is no quality, reliability and many issues in these products.

There are a few Mut fans here but I still consider them the Bayliner of the Med.
Was just looking at an U-Tube ad for one; I can't imagine a joy-stick operated hull WITH a bow thruster.

Mercury has been having lots of issues also. Their later high performance products seem to have support & supply issues.

If you are really serious, you will need close support from the hull and engine factory reps.
Not the sales reps, real factory techs and discuss future servicing.

Thanks Capt Ralph. I suspected something was wrong as a few listings were going for much less than what I thought the fair market value was. What I love about the look of the Verve 40 is the open cockpit, sleek styling, nice cabin below, nice walk around area to the bow, beach doors. Can you think of another make/model that is similar and better quality? I am in SW florida. Thanks

Oh, it is full of those sexy Italian looks, In my opinion, that is were it ends.
Past the looks; up time and future servicing is another budget.

You have to stay with outboards?
    You looking for high speed?
    Stabin Cabin?
    A/C?

I think the 350 Verados are pretty well sorted now but there might be some early years that have some niggles. I know nothing about the Verve but Azimut builds good riding sea boats. Many of the problems plaguing the brand are equipment related and access to the same. I would think with outboard power, some of those issues would be mitigated. There have definitely been lay-up issues and subsequent delaminations in earlier years.

Another member was asking about the Verve earlier this year... https://www.yachtforums.com/threads/azimut-verve.39986/

Sorry I can't provide more insight. We discontinued coverage of Azimuts years ago due to the problems owners were experiencing and the lack of support coming from the yard.
