Would anyone have a line on 430 engines and or parts for sale anywhere
You probably already know about it, but http://ford-mel-engine.com/ has a for sale section.
Unless you want to buy a '64 convertible project?
you can try www.chris-craft.org under the Antique Boat Club. I recently viewed a posting selling lincoln 430s
would a salvage one be less$?
A 430 that doesn't need valves, crank, or pistons costs 3500-4000 to rebuild. One in need of all moving parts can easily and quickly double that.
I can't imagine that a good runner would cost more than a full rebuild on a salvage engine.
I did some calling around your right
From what I have read here that is his usual standard.
Hey Litterfisher, I have some Lincoln 430 parts for Sale, including a complete starboard motor, condition unknown. Ran well 7 years ago.
Very reasonably priced, I'd rather see them used, then sit. P.M. if interested.
Do you still have the 430 for sale?
There is one here that says it needs some TLC
