    Let's kick off this dedicated thread to the Amels 177 "Spirit" with a video on her. I believe she is the latest 177 at the moment? First onboard view I have seen of her... Seems to be a nice, easy and simple contemporary interior with some very beautiful and interesting details throughout the rooms.

    "Spirit" just departed the Caribbean headed East. Destination Canary Islands. So another yacht leaving the region. Most of the yachts will start leaving with more frequency this month and towards the start of April.

    Both engines failed, apparently they only had the bow thruster left? Pity the video doesn't show how they managed to get the yacht to a standstill at that quay. Lucky for them so much help was available!

    That is great that all the tenders/ribs came to help! She obviously is fine now because she crossed the Atlantic bound for Canaries.

    How can both engines fail? Wrong fuel? Was she entering or leaving that marina? Remarkable video!

    "Spirit" has had a full interior remake while under refit earlier this year. Her original interiors were a combination by Christian Liaigre and Nuvolari Lenard. The fully-redone interior was carried out to a design by Swiss-based company Dôme Project Interiors. The new owners of Spirit really changed the interior significantly from the previous owners, in my opinion, the style is much more sophisticated.
