    Scrap up a small sample in a test tube and find a university student to run it through a mass spectrometer.

    Good idea.
    The dust from the Weat winds has rained away, but I will look for more.
    (No idea how to find a university student, is there there Commercial labs for that kind of work? )

    Well, university student, where would I look? Perhaps, a university? Ah. And what university is near you? Nova University. And they're a research school with programs in Environmental Science.

    I think though it's safe to say the recent dust is from the wildfires, and there will be more as the fires are still burning.
