Just thought I would create a thread for Acico's largest built to date, the near 50-meter "Nassima". Since being launched in late July the yacht has done sea trials already and will be delivered to her owner on September 1st, 2012. She will then make her international debut at the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) later in September. You can check her out on the Quai de l'Hirondelle, number N16.
Beautiful yacht! Here is a cool video of her splash down. Acico Yachts Nassima Yacht, The Big Move II - YouTube Is it the lighting or is her anti-fouling paint glossy?
Here is an earlier video of her during engine insertion and superstructure placement. Acico Yachts.mov - YouTube AH HAH, so this is how they do it!!
Came across this photo/rendering of "Nassima" on Acico's FB page. Does she have the strip accent lighting in the railings as portrayed in the below photo?
Acico just uploaded a bunch of photos of the "Nassima". This is quite an impressive vessel on the face of it. https://www.facebook.com/#!/media/set/?set=a.187755644692357.45505.161001237367798&type=1
Great find! More and more yacht companies are using Facebook to communicate. Did you catch the video showing them hoisting the MiniCooper out of the lazatette? Awesome!
Really nice video of Nassima ...........it has a mini car inside. See below. Acico Yachts presents Nassima - YouTube
I have a feeling this yacht will represent well for Acico yachts and generate interest at least and probably create new build projects for them.
Hoping to find a buyer in Europe. I think it has a cool aquarium onboard. Somehow people seem to have difficulties buying a yacht from a new yard. Seems to me like a great yacht!!
