   The boat hardly ever gets a time without use. That said I am surprised the side door looks so faded, its a top hinged door and not subject to immersion.

   Increased exposure to direct sunlight while in the up position? Is the door a different material for weight savings? That amount of fading seems unreasonable. Is it possible the door was recently sanded in preparation of a repaint?
