Designed to ABS scantlings by Naval Architect A.G.McIlwaine, LTD. Constructed at Allied Shipbuilders, North Vancouver, B.C., Canada, 'Banshee' represents an unique opportunity to acquire a true go anywhere expedition style yacht. Robust epoxy coated 1/4" mild steel construction with a 1/4" marine aluminum pilothouse combined with a powerful 14 litre keel cooled Cummins main and a heavy commercial hydraulic package offer unlimited possibilities. 3000 Gallons diesel in integral tanks boasting 26" diameter clean out ports provide Alaska to Cabo un-refueled ranges. 700 gallons potable water, 100 Gallons each grey and black water holding. Vacu Flush Heads. Expansive forward well deck with room for multiple tenders served by a hydraulic mast and boom. A heavy duty hydraulic deck reel anchor windlass provides for a large watertight forward 'crash' bulkhead with no penetrations save an aluminum Freeman access hatch. Paravane stabilizers enhance the inherent stability of the deep hard chine hull. Expansive open and covered deck spaces and generous walk arounds enhance liveability and safety at sea. Well ventilated, bright and airy salon abuts a generous galley with a Dickenson Atlantic diesel stove and an electric cooktop. Two large ensuite queen size cabins are forward, one with a separate single bunk and ladder access to a watertight deck entrance. Pilot house is very large, could accommodate a convertible berth and the engine room is very roomy with considerable open space and a large work bench. The Lazarette is another watertight compartment, very large with watertight access from the ER and the aft deck.

This vessel requires cosmetic upgrading to include commercial exterior paint and a new house battery bank. She has been in warm lay up for several years. The hull deck and house were coated with three layers of epoxy at construction and are well preserved. She is an Alaska to Cabo veteran and a proven Passagemaker.

Our brokerage service manager attended this vessel in February 2021 and personally operated all systems- Main engine, generator, windlass, steering, hydraulics/ deck winches and bow thruster. All are operational without issue. We operated the compressed air system, all of the bridge electronics and the water systems. All were fully operational with the exception of the SSB Radio which has been disconnected from the Antenna tuner. Please contact for further details and pictures.

This is an amazing opportunity to craft your own vision, the foundation is here.

Vessel requires re- commissioning for service. There is no dinghy, exterior of hull paint is faded, there is some surface corrosion on the side hull guards. Main deck and house coatings are very good. Electronics, while functional, are original. Interior is oak. All soft goods require replacement. Hull/ bilges are sound and coatings well adhered.
