48M "Princess Too" being refitted at ICON Yachts

48-meter Motor Yacht "Princess Too" to undergo extensive refit at ICON Yachts​

With no less than nine successful refit projects completed by the Dutch superyacht shipyard, the client of M/Y "Princess Too" chose ICON Yachts based on their excellent track record and very competitive pricing coupled with well-defined scope and planning. Alongside a full Awlgrip repaint in a new color scheme and build up of a new underwater ship ICON Yachts has also been commissioned to integrate a new black water double bottom storage tank. Additional major works include the repair and re-caulking of the teak deck with a light grey color complementing the new exterior color scheme. Stemming from excellent pedigree, the 1999 Feadship Van Lent yacht is scheduled to arrive shortly to commence the 5 month refit. The aim of the refit is to improve the aesthetic appeal of the yacht and upgrade as well as service all technical systems, such as stabilizers, gearboxes and secondary systems.

Some of the most recent refit projects completed at ICON Yachts include the motor yachts "Seven Sins", "Rahil", "Slipstream", "C2" as well as "Skat" and "EOS" (the last two were managed by Royal Huisman at the facilities of ICON Yachts). The shipyard is currently completing the major conversion of the observation lounge to a VIP guest suite on M/Y "Meridian". She is scheduled to depart mid October. Further works include the Huisman rigging refit of S/Y "Juliet" as well as final construction outfitting of a 80-meter Pilot Station Vessel in collaboration with Barkmeijer Shipyards. For the refit activities one further slot is available prior to the arrival of a large completion project. Princess Too was built by the Royal van Lent yard in 1999 with an exterior and interior design by Sam Sorgiovanni and accommodates 12 guests in a master suite, VIP cabin and four twin cabins.
