  1. 2017 Monaco Yacht Show - Top 10 Superyachts

It's that time of the year once again for the major European end-of-summer boat shows to take the spotlight. The Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) this year will feature some new superyachts as usual many of them launched this year and only a few months old. We here at YF thought it prudent to look at some of the largest craft that will be displayed at this exquisite exhibition of wealth on the water in Monte Carlo. Here is our top 10 superyachts that are expected to be displayed at this year's MYS.

    1. 92-meter "Aquarius"

The 92-meter "Aquarius" built for a well-known American businessman was delivered late in 2016. She was constructed under project name 'Touchdown' and is one of the largest Feadships built to-date. The exterior design as well as interior has been penned by Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design.
  2. 2. 85-meter "Areti"

"Areti" is an 85-meter superyacht built by German custom superyacht builder Lurssen. She was delivered this year to her owner and she will also be making her international yacht show debut at the MYS. The design is by Winch Design. Delivery of this yacht was just last month and since then she has been seen in Norway.
  3. 3. 77.5-meter "Legend"

Here is a yacht that is not new and "Legend" is not a stranger to the Monaco area either. She is a frequent visitor to this popular part of the Med especially under her previous incarnation as ex. "Giant" (when she had her red hull and tan superstructure). Since then she got a multi-million dollar refit which saw several modifications made and changing her exterior paint more inline with her 'sister' explorer charter yacht "Sherakhan". Icon Yachts was responsible for the extensive refit done in 2016.
  4. 4. 74-meter "Cloud 9"

"Cloud 9" was built by Italian yard CRN in 2017 and is the successor we believe to the 60-meter yacht of the same name (at the time, presently named "C9") built by French yard CMN Yachts. The new Cloud 9 has a design by Studio Zuccon and rises 5 decks above the waterline. Since delivery this yacht has been all over enjoying the Summer season.
  5. 5. 73.5-meter "Flying Fox"

"Flying Fox" certainly still turns some heads . She was built by Nobiskrug and is being advertised as Project 783 along with her Damen fast yacht support vessel "7611". The former Flying Fox has an interior by Mark Berryman that is sure to impress many on tour and inspection.
  6. 6. 70.2-meter "Martha Ann"

The Lurssen "Martha Ann" will be featured at the 2017 Monaco Yacht Show (MYS). She isn't a stranger to the area either but her joint brokerage are collectively hoping to get a sale during this year's show. IYC and Burgess are listing her and the 2008 Lurssen build is still in fine condition with an exterior by Espen Oeino and interior by Franscois Zuretti.
  7. 7. 67-meter "Seasense"

"Seasense" is a brand new 2017 build by Italian yard Benetti Yachts. Not alot has been known about this build actually but we do know that Cor D Rover worked on the exterior design along with Benetti. The interior was done by new-comer Studio Area. Hopefully we know alot more about the vessel as she is displayed at MYS.
  8. 8. 66-meter "Okto"

"Okto" is no stranger to being displayed at the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS). In fact, this year will be her third year on display. She is for sale and is a real stunner of a yacht with many power-packed features any owner would love. Her black and silver exterior with blue reflective tint on the windows really capture people's attention.
  9. 9. 65.7-meter "Infinite Shades"

She is a Limited Edition 212 built by Amels Yachts in the Netherlands. While she isn't brand new this yacht is in prime condition with an exterior by renowned Tim Heywood and an interior by the famed Winch Design Studio.
  10. 10. 62.5-meter "Apogee"

This yacht was built by Italian yard Codecasa in 2003. Since then she received a refit and she is in decent condition. Della Role is responsible for the wooded interiors of Apogee that features Rosewood and Mahogany timbers. The four deck yacht has plenty of space for her guests to keep busy.
