There were rows and rows of beautiful sportfishers of all shapes and sizes.

The grandaddy of them all is Satu a 90 footer with a tuna tower that is tops.

    satu (2).JPG
Speaking of tops she tops out at 33 knots, cruises at 30, with a range of 2,600 miles.

Judging from the size of her domes I would say she can stay in touch from just about anywhere in the world.

She was launched in 2012 by Yachting Developments in NZ.

She looks pretty good out of the water too! New Launch: Yachting Developments 27.43M Sportfish "Satu" - YachtForums.Com

Lets take her for a little spin!

I have couple friends with NorTechs .Beautiful boats with excellent customer service . My next boat will probably be a NorTech . I am waiting for a model in the 42-45 ft. size with a little more cruiser comfort features .
But having that knuckle head around doesn't do much for me .

Thanks everyone. Glad I could bring some of the night life to YF.
Milow, I very well may be headed to Monaco for the show. Will you be there? Need to search YF to get the inside scoop.

Here are two more pics. I had to shoot a party on M/Y Gravitas one night.
First photo looks like Sputnik, but actually a chandelier hung from the crane.
Second is of the horns at dusk.

I hear that Nor-tech has almost a 3 year waiting list? I think he was mostly a knucklehead for publicity on the show.....people wouldn't watch the show if there was no drama.

I think sometimes those who have won races get carried away with the design and think the buyers are all racers. To my knowledge Hustler has won nothing, but I like their boats.

It depends on whether I go to Australia/NZ for one year after school or not...
Otherwise I will definitely be there and look forward to see you! Will touch base with you once I made a decision..

Both Sr and Jr are a-holes. They probably act better on camera. A friend of mine had Sr in court for 5 years over an improperly built bike that blew up before it was delivered to him. They expected him to take a locked up bike and be happy with it. Jr didn't tighten a front caliper, causing the rider on the bike to die. Both of them don't understand the oil systems on the bikes and keep using too small fitting on the oil lines. Most of the bikes they build won't hit 1000 miles without an overhaul and oil system rework. They are just hacks with camera's following them around.

In all honesty, they don't actually "build" bikes... they just assemble them. Aside from shaping a tank/fender, everything else they do is just glorified LEGO work. There are far more interesting fabricators in the world than them.

Some of the guys can and do some decent fab work, but not the Paul's. personally, I wonder how many of the problems are caused by the camera crew.

I worked in a shop for a while that built drag bikes and road racing bikes. We had a camera crew that wanted to make a show about us. Took 2 days before we threw them out. 4 hours into the first day, I locked them out of the engine room. Idiot was messing with and dropping parts. After that I catch him messing around in the dyno room. After running him off, I find glue on the throttle cables. Now they film Shelby and some of the shows in Louisiana. They got run off from a bike shop and a race car chassis shop in Houston too. I wouldn't doubt that the camera crew cultured and built problems between the Paul's just for added drama.
