Continuing with the event, here's M/Y Bubbaloo, a 1969 Huckins. She has always been corporate owned: originally by Brown and Root which was bought out by Halliburton. She's all of her 80', with twin 16v71 Detroits and max speed of 19 knots.
Unfortunately I did not get a lot of images of her as I was busy exploring her inards.

Her salon is airy and comfortable, just like home.

The forward stateroom has four bunks, great for kids, terrible for snorers (no comments, Carl).

That bow is about half the length of the yacht, so it is a long walk to the fore stateroom. Real bulkhead doors give it a bit of a ship feel, but she's all class underneath.
You'll make a hullabaloo over Bubbaloo.

Included in the show but not stopping for a closer look (we were on our way to lunch, so filling our stomachs was more of a priority than filling a YF thread), was the Century cruiser "On The Marks", with signature T-Tops.

Check out that dash, it looks straight from an automobile. Any connection?

Great pictures. To still have with us these treasures from a bygone era is truly special.

When I was a kid we had a new 1966 26' Century Raven. The interior had an abundance of the same orange vinyl. I had the brochure with photos of all the Century models... I remember thinking the styling on the runabouts was out of this world. The effect on me today is the same.

More and more often I find myself thinking back, about how things used to be. Maybe I'm getting as old as I seem to my kids.

I would add grace and charm as well. The pictures are great, and add my thanks to Carl and Tom.

As for a few more land cruisers, here a Rolls Royce sporting copper tubing for the cooling system and a multi-trumpet horn.

I'm old, but not this old, and I missed the name/year on the info sheet. Anyone?

Trans Am. Hot cars for their day, with T-tops.

Not familiar with this brand. It's an Avions Voisin, a French-built auto. Reminds me of one that Herman Munster would drive.

Planes started to buzz around as the Vintage event focused on birds of all type at the local airport. Although we stayed by the cars/boats, was able to grab a few shots. Not the best stuff as we were a distance away and did not have my best telephoto lens in the bag. but you get an idea. The air show is on our schedule for next year.

    Planes would swoop down...
