2009 Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show; Pre-Show Cruise

Here comes Aurora. I think she needs to be renamed "De-Fender of the Awlgrip".

Here's that gaggle of BoatUS guys, waiting for the next opportunity. In actuality, these guys help guide the yachts into place, or add some persuasion to the pointy ends.

Here we are, our PacMan 85, snug up against Aurora A and in place. Kudos to Capt Brad for a fine docking job and letting me ride along.

Got to head off for now, but will be back with more pics from our Sunday cruise, and shots of yachts parading in on Monday (10/26/09), including watching Sycara getting off the dock at the hotel to head to her place at Bahia Mar.

The shot would be so much better without the girder in the middle. I mean, nothing like yachts banging into each other since they couldn't tie off.

Word has it that the North Star sportfish has had hull issues, like delamination. Do your homework on this one. But she does look good, though.

TAKE IT EASY is a sharp looking Westport with blue window frames? Doh!

This San Lorenzo is an eye catcher, with her tan hull and built-in misting system under the upper deck canopy.

You saw STARFIRE earlier in this thread. But we noticed the young gal getting her workout in.

Here's the new Trinity BACARELLA basking in the warm glow of a setting tropical sun.
