Took a cruise yesterday and was surprised at the number of yachts in town for the Air & Sea Show. Most of these pics were taken at Bahia Mar, but a couple were from other marinas. Enjoy!

The first is a number of yachts lined up at Bahia Mar. This picture is looking south along the docks...

I believe this is a Feadship. I failed to get the name of this yacht...

This is "Islander". I believe one attaches large sheets to those tall vertical things when the wind blows. Interesting concept. :D

It used to be so easy to differentiate yachts. It's become more difficult over the past few years. I think this is a Benetti.

    Carl,
is Pier 66 packed like the rest of the marinas seem to be this weekend? I was planning on coming down that and temporarily moving the boat there from roscioli's. Had no idea the air show was going on. Is everything as packed as it looks in the pics?

    thanks,

    fish

    Hi Fish,

I haven't been over to the docks this week, but I'm sure you'll be able to find dock space at Bahia Mar. Pier 66 is questionable. If you're going to attend the air show, we'll be anchored about 300 yards north of Las Olas in the intracoastal. (Just after the bend) Look for a 72' Broward with some foolish website administrator doing his own version of the Air & Sea Show... with an r/c helicopter. ;)

I'm pretty sure there will be atleast one other notable character from YachtForums onboard too. It would be nice for all of us to meet. :)
