My wife and I are looking at a 2004 59' Marquis. We live aboard our 2004 Sea Ray 390 MY and are ready to get into a bigger boat.

We want a boat with the ability to cruise the Gulf and not be always restricted to the ICW. The boat we are looking at has MTU engines. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Pretty good boat. A neighbor of mine had one, i helped him with it incl a trip to Bimini. Ran well, had MTUs (forgot which ones)

Had a few minor issues but nothing that woudl be a deal killer. Most where caused by marinemax...

Maintenance access was ok in the ER.

One issue that was marquis screw up was a leak at the master windows... turned out marquis had tried to save a few bucks and didn't use enough sealant.

    Otherwise decent boat

I also knew a guy with one in Daytona IIRC also a 59. I agree with Pascal.
