    In process of buying a 1973 46' Bertram MY with twin DD 8-71s and want any opinions about quality of boat, concerns etc. Boat appears to be in great shape, corporate owned, awaiting survery now. We will be leaving in Haliafx Marina in Daytona beach for costal and Bahamas cruising and live aboard 3 days a week weather permitting. Want for 50 mile trips couple times a month and for entertaining. Thoughts? Thanks

    Great heavy sea boat, are the 71's natural or turbo? how many hours ?

    If turbo, be sure to get proper engine survey as lots of those high HP engines have a life of about 1200 hrs prior to major overhaul. Good luck..
