OB, most of what I said was just highlighting facts rather than opinions/positions, so I'm struggling a bit at understanding what exactly you...
Well, as you know I'm not familiar with the documentation normally supplied in the US, aside from having learned here that it can be hit and miss,...
You're not telling me anything new. I'm fully aware that there are buyers who consider this important, and as I already said this is what triggers...
Do you possibly have the original Italian manual, and if so could you post the exact statement published in it? Your statement which I'm quoting...
I know they offer that option, but it's just targeted at folks interested in the boat for her pose value alone - of which I guess there are some....
If it's a performance-ish boat of that size that you're after, I'd pick neither, and go for the real thing instead. OTAM 80, based on a Fabio...
I actually sympathize with your view - in fact, my question wasn't actually meant to disagree. Just to point out (for balance) that having never...
+1
By this criteria, are you saying that Nordhavn isn't a builder either...?!? Anyway, Cowboy was built by these guys, who by the way were the best...
Of course it's your (as well as anyone else's) choice - a choice I never pretended to influence, let alone change. But funnily, you are actually...
Interesting and very logical explanation, thanks. When I said that in the inlet section I would expect the air flow to behave similarly to a NA...
We are now completely drifting from the thread subject, but just to explain what I meant, it isn't the Absolute decision that I called trivial,...
Funny how I sympathized with your previous statement, and I couldn't disagree more with this one. Not because it's wrong, but because the...
Haha, I sort of agree. But our views aside, what is actually happening is that both Magellanos and Navettas are rather successful, but with...
Not sure of where you see any confusion. Absolute Navettas are direct competitors of Magellanos, but they are IPS powered. Neither pretend to be...
Nice try, but that's an argument that doesn't hold water, if I've ever seen one. Let's stick to Azimut, which you threw into the debate. They are...
There are two main reasons why IPS powered boats are thriving: First and foremost, they are cheaper to build. Second, differently from what used...
Just to clarify, for summer cruising in the Med a fully open flybridge is just perfect, so I don't see the lack of lower helm as a big deal - even...
You're saying that as if it were a great reference, but actually also Azimut do NOT fit pods in their more serious boats (all Magellanos and...
Thanks folks, good to hear all that. A solid, no-nonsense boat is exactly what we are hoping to find. And if she'll need a bit of cosmetic TLC, it...
