THIS, and your autopilot will hold a much better heading than you ever will. Also you should be able to steer to over-ride the autopilot.
No, it is not true. Both Viking and Hatteras tend to have more boats at the Fort Lauderdale show from what I've seen.
Yeah, I've seen them T'ed. Check your shaft tube, the rust stain is odd, could it be possible that the shaft tube is clogged?
Look behind/underneath the helm in that area.
They're good pumps, make great pressure and even pressure. They did have a run of them several years back where the circuit boards went bad.
I would also install a jabsco 6-7 GPM with a seperate switch or breaker as a backup since you have 2 now.
In addition to this, Azimut almost always puts a breaker panel in the closet in each stateroom for that particular stateroom.
Is the tank fiberglass? It sounds like it is and the epoxy/paint/gelcoat etc. they coated the inside with wasn't mixed properly and is...
How many times have you flushed the tank out? I would probably think you'd have to do it 6-10 times. What material is the tank made from?
If it's DC, which I think it is that you have. The Jabsco variable speed 6 or 7 GPM ones are pretty quiet but not the best, headhunter makes a DC...
Where are you getting the water from that you're filling the tank? Is it at a marina with CITY water, or are you filling the tank with well...
I life Life Seal (NOT Life Caulk)
They might've cut down the 2.5" to 2.25" on a lathe......I would think a good prop shop could do that pretty easily.
I recently was on a West Bay 58' Very good quality of construction and everything that you need to service was easy to get to. I liked the boat....
Good luck with that. What exactly are you trying to achieve? What issues are you having?
You missed the part about it losing 1/2 a gallon of coolant per day. Coolant gets low, coolant temp rises, it hits the temperature shut down.
I second going with Veems, with the intercepter props, you can change the pitch very easily by simply replacing the plastic strips in the prop.
Barnacle buster is the LAST thing I would do. If it's losing 1/2 a gallon of coolant and it's not leaking externally, and it's not getting into...
That's exactly what I was thinking. Why not paint the engine room.
I've had it where the heat exchanger was borderline.......light loads coolant temp would run near the safety shutdown, when more load was applied...
