As it seems to be an S-drive you can rule out engine alignment and shaft, but it can still be a bent prop or the motor mounts.

Sometimes boat builders use Velcro for unvisible fitting..? Then you should feel that the panel can move a little. Or it can be hidden "ball clamps"?

On that boat you can probably add some bladdertanks if you like. Try to figure out how much extra fuel you would need to go south of the oil..?
I have of course not seen the boat, but I think you will end up much higher than 50´before it is finished, plus the job...
Isn´t it possible to go around the oil? I would never go near it...
