  1. Dining in style, this perfectly manicured, carved and inlaid mahogany table, in its luxe booth-style dinette, recessed halogen lighting; all set to make every meal a pleasure.
  2. To put it all together for the evening, or morning, mealtime, R-80’s galley is well equipped with custom steel refrigeration, 4-burner cook-top, convection/microwave oven, icemaker, dishwasher and disposal. All she needs is you. Coffee, Hon?
  3. Check out this clean, easy to read circuit panel; it’s all here in black and white with red emphasis. Located on the main deck level for easy access, along with TV, stereo, entertainment center. Other custom electrical and distribution panels are strategically located throughout. All boast integral enclosures, reverse engraved lexan, magnetic/hydraulic and thermal breakers, rotary switching, analog metering, power disconnects. The main panel is protected with an automatic halon fire bottle. Roscioli does it right.
  4. Forward and down the companionway stairs to the staterooms; the hallway displays high competence in interior marine design, featuring teak and mahogany trim, lacquered for long term use, requiring little or no attention or maintenance.
  5. R-80’s Master Stateroom follows the same strongly masculine design scheme, with lacquered-no-maintenance cabinetry and fixtures. Yet the queen-size berth oozes luxury itself, centered, raised, with off-white carpet and ceiling. Her large wardrobe and complete functional entertainment center cap off the convenience.
  6. An alternate view of the Master shows blended, fine wood closets, plus the 32” plasma TV facing the master berth. The private ensuite head is convenient, with marble flooring. (And...Score! Somebody left her skivvies on the bed!)
  7. Her master head features a large, mirrored vanity, marbled flooring and walls, plus nicely designed sink and fixtures, with marble countertop.
  8. Forward, the VIP berth is nicely enclosed within the bow’s sweep, yet quite roomy; raised, with stowage beneath. Also boasting a hanging locker and entertainment center, it’s artistry in workmanship, well designed furnishings with warm woods and an overhead skylight, all dedicated to comfortable cruising.
  9. Making excellent use of design sense, the VIP head boasts a stand-up shower as well as a marble sink top and adequate stowage.
  10. Making good use of available space, Roscioli has wedged this twin guest room into narrow, but quite comfortable living quarters. It also sports a hanging locker, and access to the day-head.
  11. Shown here, an alternate view of the Guest twin pictures the excellent woodwork, incurvate, molded to fit the occasion, its hanging locker and dresser drawers. There’s also the 30” TV to bolster the evening’s entertainment.
  12. Down one level, two-berth crew quarters also boasts a laundry area, sound insulated auxiliary machinery room, plus private entry from the engine room, as well as an aft entry/exit from the cockpit.
  13. In spite of close quarters, the crew sports its own private head, with toilet, vanity/medicine cabinet and a clever, disappearing sink.
  14. Now you see it, now you don’t. This cleverly designed sliding sink slips in or out of view, as needed.
  15. R-80’s robust pair of MTU/Detroit Diesels: 2,000 hp 16V 2000, w/100 amp alternators, a roomful by any measure, rest comfortably in her voluminous recesses. Side by side, ready to perform, the premier builder has allotted enormous access room to these giants, making for convenient total attention. Simply stated, servicing should be a snap.
  16. MTU/Detroit Diesels flaunt DDEC III controls featuring sequential turbocharging with 3 water-cooled exhaust-gas turbochargers; triple walled, liquid cooled. Each engine is 9.48’ long, 4.25’ wide, and 4.67’ high. The twins move this magnificent vessel, developing 1790 kW – 2400 hp, up to 40 knots, great speed for a sportfish/luxury yacht this size.
  17. In gleaming gold, the Aquadrive shaft coupler absorbs vibration normally transmitted to load carrying bulkheads. This unit also stabilizes the alignment. Additional vibration suppression comes from MTU's isolation mounts.
  18. All things considered, we’re here to confirm Roscioli’s Donzi-80 Sportfisher is indeed a Luxury Yacht/Sportfisher to remember. For the Sportfisherman who has the passion/guts to lead the charge into big-time Tournaments, but relishes his upscale cruising comforts as well; this beautiful but tough tomboy has to be a number one contender. <end>
