  1. In addition to the VIP head pictured below, other guest quarters include a separate, smaller stateroom with bunk beds, upper and lower, also with its own ensuite head.
  2. With the same level of décor and design as the larger suites, the guest twin stateroom provides twin bed comfort with a bed lamp and table/bureau between. Slatted windows provide ample daylight. An ensuite head is adjacent.
  3. Crew quarters, air conditioned, include a pair of large single berths plus a food-prep counter with sink, microwave oven and refrigerator. With ample storage room, there is also a hanging locker, plus ensuite head/shower.
  4. The stand-up engine room is well organized, boasting a pair of CAT C-18 diesels @ 1015 hp. Those hulking power plants drive the Alaskan 80 at speeds from 19 to 22 knots. Other controls include dual generators, stabilizers, bow thruster, inverters and electronic monitors/panels. Three engine room camera monitors continuously report all technical activity to the bridge. Naiad roll stabilizers control sideways movement. Watertight doors seal off the engine room, which is accessed from the swim step and by stairs from the pilothouse.
  5. So, top to bottom, it’s easy to realize this Alaskan 80 is built for long term adventure, in style and comfort, to handle any sea, to every port. It’s all there, in this sea rover’s yacht; the dream of far away places with strange sounding names.

Jack London would have loved this boat!
