Toilets are probably same 1996 year as the boat. Raritan told me they changed the Atlantis model to their, Atlantis Freedom, and discontinued all the Atlantis parts so I'm thinking time to upgrade them. Stick with same brand or ?????

You can't go wrong with Raritan toilets. I recently changed over to the Marine Elegance with fresh water.

‘I did the same, Marine Elegance with fresh water but installed an electric valve for switching to salt if needed.
Had a manual Raritan on another boat for 14 years, good quality, easy to service.

Were still using ole 32v Crown heads on ole Bertie.
    Bomb proof.

I have installed on customers boats the new flat-back Raritan head replacing their old GM stuff.
    Very quiet.
Last install included the Blue-Tooth control panel per owners spec.
Per the owner, programmable and you can work your head with your cell phone.
I never opened the manual, was not interested in a 007 head.
I just put the batteries in and hit the button, it worked and I was gone ♫♪♫

I will add that Raritan service and support for me over 46 years has been fantastic.
For chargers and hot water heaters and heads
    Always responded with good advice.

I replaced the VF with Raritan Elegances on my Hatt about 6 or 7 years. Great heads. After wondering why anyone would want to control heads with a phone, I used a manual push button….

the one in the master is a standard elongated home style head, much better than the standard bowls although it uses more water because of how the intake is set up

I was confused also, but the customer is always correct. He got what he wanted.

I will make one comment on that install, in replacing the old GM and installing the new Blue-Tooth Raritan, a new control cable from the panel to the new head was going to be a PIA.
I do not believe the customer saw that, but it did save me another hour + and more spilled blood.
This remote panel option may help on future installs for other owners.

Not wanting ANY exposed wires I cemented the circuit board inside the tank. Store did not have a 1 1/2 - 3/4 fitting so tomorrow's another day.
