I saw that— I will put a level on the pipes and verify there are falling to the tank — but if not— its gonna be a huge task — Ill also need to verify the water pressure at the head to see what it is vacuflush is there now— the Planus and the Marine Elegnace look to be the simplest install so far— but less parts is better— right now the HH look to be 2k ish per unit from what I saw
Vs the ME for 1K per unit
Excuse the poor spell check— In a deer blind trying to cut down on pig numbers right now

I will admit, We did install an Elegance on a customers old Hatt (replacing the POS Galley Maid), with ships pressure fresh water. Long run forward to the black tank.
It is still working very well a couple of years later.
When it does screws up (ya know it is going to), it will be a freaking mess to fix.

The Raritan elongated bowel won’t be available for some time according to Raz Marine. I replaced one GM with the elegance standard bowel and love it. I wanted to replace my forward GM with the elongated bowel but couldn’t wait so tried Defender and others, all back ordered. Raz had one left. Story is Raritan lost the mold and won’t have it out until late fall. Earlier they said late spring 2021. So who knows.

Actually yes. When I ordered mine I was told it was the last one and they had a problem with the mold. The bowl itself was stamped “made in Vietnam” and dated about 9 years ago...

No idea but I guess there isn’t much demand for the larger size bowls

There has to be more to the story. I’m just hoping the master head (GM elongated bowel) doesn’t go TU until Raritan is back up and running. By the way I have two rebuilt (10/2020) GM freshwater pumps and 2 GM white bowels up for sale.

Regular size Marine Elegance with the “Smart Panel” and the “Salt/Fresh” switch.
Plenty big enough, and I have a big arse.

I am pretty much fed up with my Galley Maid, the Elegance seems to be a good replacement have not bothered to do the measurements yet, are they close enough in size, the the tall version available as it seems to not be.

I have 3 Raritan Elegance’s for about 3-4 years and they have been flawless. So glad to be done with the vacuflush. They do seem to fill the holding tank faster than Vacuflush (use more water).

I can’t quantify this statement but it seems the Raritans use less water then the the GM did. They are most definitely quieter!

I'm on my first season with two newly installed Raritan Elegance units. So far they have been fantastic. I just finished up a trip 5 days out with 6 people aboard (two women) and they worked great. Not having the vacuflush junk is fantastic. Just the reduced stress of not dreading the next clog and overflow is worth the money. And the ability to switch to sea water saves a huge amount of fresh water.
