This is a project that I finished 2 years ago on my personal boat. I think there are a few out there that want to install larger screens on your 38/40 pop up console. I managed to fit 2 Furuno TZT2 side by side, these are the 12" screens. I cut the existing face all the way to the side walls. Then I made a "adapter plate" from coosa board to widen the available face area. I also had to cut some of the main console to allow the extra width to clear while opening and closing.
Damn that looks professional from here. How do you like the tzt2s? I have had mine for a year now and I like them.
